The Crusaders repeat as Saltfleet DHS Indoor Tournament Champions

The team outscored its opposition by 13-3 Recording 4 Defensive shutouts, paving the way to a 6 win and 1 tie record.

Remember that your money is due for extra practice sessions. Those that have not paid their $45 practice rental fee will not be allowed to participate in the Ivor Wynne Practice Sessions.

The Crusaders managed to sweep all 5 games at the Blessed Trinity Tournament. The team played well defensivley allowing only 2 goals, while scoring 9.

The Crusaders are now 2 for 2 in tournament play.

League Playoffs start Monday at Soccer World against Brebeuf, kick off is at 4 pm.

St. Mary Soccer Dinner 2009

St. Mary Soccer will be holding its second Soccer Dinner April 29, 2009. The dinner will begin at 7 pm and conclude at 11pm. All players are expected to participate fully in the fundraising.

The theme for the event will be "Commitment to Excellence", celebrating the rebirth of the soccer tradition. The players will also be looking for donations to be used as auction and raffle items.

We will be looking for adult volunteers to help with set up and tend bar.

The event will be catered by Genuine Bakery, and the menu will be as follows:

Chicken

Sausage

2 Pastas

Salad

Bun & Butter

We will also offer coffee service.

Tickets for the event will be $15 per adult and $10 for children under 14.
